Alex Band sat on a bench in the library. The windows were open and the wind blew into her face. Pushing her brown hair back behind her then coming back down gently to rest in her face when the wind retreated back. Alex's hair was long but not that. It was red like her mother’s and her eyes were big and brown. She was wearing her school uniform, with her skirt. She really hated the skirt; it was always annoying... at least to Alex.
She hadn't talked to the boys since potions class. She then went to the hospital wing because james has spilled his potion on her, on accident of course. She had hit him and Sirius over the head because they had been laughing so hard. She planned to get them back with a prank of course she would need Remus' help. Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, James Potter, and Peter Pettigrew had been her best friends since first year. Even closer than Lily, Lucy, and Ally. They would never expect to find her in the library.
Her eyes were on the book in front of her. Not really reading anything, but just focusing on it's words. Words of wisdom some might say. It was a book on Hogwarts History. History wasn't Alex's best subject or her favorite. Alex didn't really have a favorite. Now she was working history, which was quite boring taking it from Alex's perspective, and probably many other student's.
With a sigh, Alex reached into her bag next to her and pulled out a muggle notebook. She creased her hand over the front and opened in carefully. Alex read over the words in her notebook that happened to be in her hands. She was horrible at writing stories. But all this was her opinion. people always told her she was great. But she refused to let anyone see her words, even if she was alone. It was one of her secrets she had at Hogwarts. She and way to many for her own good. But they were all worth keeping.
Alex got up and made her way to the window with a ledge in front of it. She closed her eyes and leaned her head against the window. She heard the rain splattering the walls. Alex heard someone walking by and quickly opened her eyes and took her notebook and hid it behind her back. There was no way anybody would see what she had written. Those words were her secret, her hidden secret.
